Public Artwork for the Future Pomona Gold Line Station Stephen Farley, Artist

Hall of Gratitude

Special thanks to everyone who contributed images, stories, and Power Statements for this project. Each of the inspirational Pomonans below has made a difference in the lives of their friends, family, and community, inspiring others in diverse and meaningful ways. In 2023, Pomona station artist Stephen Farley chose the final group of heroes from those nominated to permanently be featured in the artwork of the future Pomona Gold Line station. The deadline for submission of entries has passed.

Although all images submitted for the Gold Line project are photographs, the final artwork is an artistic reinterpretation of the image submitted and represent a personal archetype. Only first names are used in the Power Statements so that people who did not submit nominees can nevertheless see their own friends and family members in these individuals.

While there is only space for 56 people to be exhibited at the Pomona station, all images and stories submitted over the last few years are included in the virtual Hall of Gratitude below (thank you again to everyone who submitted these inspirational heroes):
