I knew José Luis Ornelas many years ago, here in Pomona. Since I have known him I have seen a very compassionate man with others — he was always able to help anyone in need no matter what. He helped many people in many ways without looking for recognition because he was a very humble man. His beautiful family was his treasure — he was a very dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was very talented — he loved to sing, to write songs and poems — and he always motivated his children to love arts. They are very talented, too. José Luis was a very faithful man and he was very pleased to share God’s word with everyone who needed it. He was a lovely and admirable man, and he deserves to be remembered! – Maria Ramos
