Seek-One showed me the power of art and community

Seek-One has inspired and sought out local talent for years offering a free space for artists to gather and vend for free at the weekly event Space Taco in Pomona for more than five years. He has brought many artists to Pomona, done countless shows (almost all free), and has invited the community to learn DJing when the club first opened while welcoming anyone interested to join the collective. He went on to start the label Spoon Fed Records where he continues to keep the core in Pomona and seeks out local talent, and even offers his studio for space for learning and artist development. He has had plenty of opportunities to take the event company elsewhere but has been adamant on keeping it in Pomona to help the artist community thrive. He was inspired by going to shows as a teenager and meeting local artists, and he wants to keep paying it forward. I think he is a perfect candidate for this.
