Kay showed me the power of keeping old friends in your life
One day Kay told me I was lucky to have so many friends from my childhood still in my life. She explained it was rare. She encouraged me to write an essay about it. What she really did was make me appreciate what I had, and inspired me to fight against drifting apart from loved ones.
