Public Artwork for the Future Pomona Gold Line Station Stephen Farley, Artist

Online Submission Form & Release

Purpose of Release:

To provide the community with the opportunity to submit photo and story submissions that may be included as part of the station artwork for the new Pomona Gold Line lightrail system. The project, entitled “The Power of Pomona is People,” is being created by artist Stephen Farley, a native of the Pomona Valley. Part of the piece is a “Hall of Gratitude” to pay homage to the importance of Pomona’s diverse residents to each other and the wider community.

As part of this project, artist Stephen Farley and the Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Construction Authority are seeking head-and-shoulders photographs of a diverse group of Pomonans past and present who have made a difference in other Pomonans’ lives. Many of these photographs, together with a statement of the power they showed to the community, will be immortalized in art tiles in the station area.

Thank you very much for your submission of photograph, statement, and brief story of a Pomonan inspirational in your life for possible inclusion in this project.
