John is a longtime Pomona resident who lives to tell the city’s history and to make sure it is preserved through institutions like the Pomona Public Library, where so much of the city’s story can be found. He is passionate about preserving the past and bringing it to life for young and old, and promoting the power of reading and educating young people – especially, about their community.
